In the hotel industry there are 3 main shift
ReplyDeleteMorning from 7am - 3pm
Afternoon from 3pm - 11pm
Evening from 11pm - 7am
Working in the hospitality industry might it be hotel restaurant or cafe means work never stops and we are open 7 days a week on public holidays and on weekends as well. Your days off are scheduled accordingly. So when you have your day off depends on the one that you report to.
The hospitality industry is not all glitter and glamour - it is an industry where besides a normal salary you will receive service charge and meals are included, at least in most hotels. This compared to other industries.
So give it a try and just apply - there is never any harm in sending your resume. Even if you get called for an interview and you still dont want the job. at least you will gain an experience. Try and you will find out, nothing too loose.
